Lyrics
I first got into lyric writing when I was making short videos and wanted to do some playful parodies of song lyrics (kind of like SNL parody songs). The lyrics caught on with viewers, who thought they were clever and catchy, and the singer commented that the lyrics had a good flow and rhythm. Later, while working on Nebula Beat’s official music releases, I started writing lyrics for some of the tracks as well. Since I was involved as both producer and planner, I understood the background, message, and personality of the performers, so my lyrics received positive feedback from both the singers and listeners. I also considered how the lyrics could influence choreography and visual presentation, which could enhance the music video and stage performances later on.

[Overview]
The screenshot above is from the officially released song Dangerous Aura. The lyrics explore the subtle tension between two idol girls, who use bold stage performances to mask their shy feelings for each other. I wrote the lyrics as a conversation and tug-of-war between the two to emphasize their connection and make it perfect for a duet dance. You can watch the music video here.
